16 Year Old Knuckleballer in Japan
Just interesting news. Of course, I took this from Joy of Sox’s site, but I give them full credit. A 16 year old girl in Japan throws a sidearm knuckleball after seeing videos of Tim Wakefield. She was just drafted by Japanese Baseball. Just how cool is that??
In a funk

I’ve been in a funk for about a week now. I don’t know why, but it probably has to do with something in my life that I don’t feel I have control of or something in my life that’s not feeling so well. Or it could just be that I haven’t slept much lately or it could be a combination of everything hitting me at once. Who knows. Only me, and that’s the problem, because it’s buried deep inside.
Work is going well (well, the network admin side anyways). I love teaching, but there are some days I just wonder if I’m any good at it. Should I be assuming that since I’m teaching College Algebra that the students have the knowledge of the pre-requisites or should I have spent a few class periods going over the “basics”? I know my student reviews are not going to be good because I didn’t coddle them much, but at least I can go home at night knowing that whatever they have learned, they truly learned.
Well, time to go continue on with life.

Well, if you keep track of my photos or Youtube channel, then you already know this, but I’ve been uploading youtube video from the Halloween Karaoke night at The Marina and I’m in the process of uploading pictures from Monster Jam 2008 (I feel like such a redneck, but it was fun). Going to the Monster truck show brought back a lot of memories from when I was younger than KC is now (which, by the way, she’s now 12).
